Karen Santangelo
President, Board Member 2009~ present
Karen teaches at Clearwater Fundamental Middle School. She joined PAEA in 2008 and served as one of our Middle School Representatives. Karen received her B.F.A. degree from Youngstown State University in Ohio, majoring in Graphic Design and Photography. She currently received her Masters in Ed. Leadership in September 2015!
Wendy Bruce
Past President, Board Member 2009 ~ present
Wendy is an artist who lives in Clearwater
and teaches Art at Ponce de Leon Elementary. She graduated from Virginia
Commonweath University in 1985 and later completed a master's degree in Art
Education and second master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Fibers
and Painting. She is National Board Certified and was a recipient of a
National Art Education Foundation grant in 2007. She currently has a
studio in her home where she creates thread drawings and encaustic paintings.
Britt Rabeneck is an artist and art teacher at Eisenhower Elementary School who has taught both in the state of Illinois and in Florida. Her teaching experiences include of a wide range of high school, middle school and elementary in both Exceptional Education (EBD) and general education. She received a BS from Northern Illinois University in Art education in 2001. In 2008, she earned a Master of Education in Administration and Leadership at National Louis University.
Kerry Marquis
Latonya after beginning her career as a Science teacher has spent the last 8 years teaching art. She is a Largo transplant artist originally from Jacksonville, FL who currently teaches art at Largo High School. Latonya is currently teaching 2D, IB, advanced placement, Eurhythmics and is the co-sponsor for the Largo High School National Art Honor Society. After graduating from Florida State University with her BFA in 2001 she continued on to earn her master’s degree in Mixed media from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University. Specializing in 2D and 3D mixed media works, her exhibition experience is extensive and her repertoire includes public as well as private art.
